HAMDEN ARTS COMMISSION ANNOUNCES SUMMER CONCERTS,
THANKS SPONSORS FOR MAKING SERIES POSSIBLE
The Hamden Arts Commission is pleased to announce its 2008 free summer concert series, thanking partner Quinnipiac University, the State of Connecticut and Senator Joseph J. Crisco, Jr., and area businesses for making the series possible.
According to Arts Commission chair, Judy Goldberg, "We’re able to present our free summer programs because we receive support from the Town of Hamden which is generously supplemented by sponsorships from other sources. Quinnipiac University is our partner sponsor. Quinnipiac’s generous contribution is an expression of its continued commitment to the Hamden community. The same holds true for the State of Connecticut, thanks to the advocacy of Senator Joseph Crisco."
Other major supporters include the he Hamden Parks & Recreation Department, the Hamden Rotary Club, Yale University, NewAlliance Foundation, the Clarion Hotel and Suites of Hamden, and Harborside Healthcare/Arden House. A full list of sponsors will be announced soon.
